Our aim is to ensure safe, decent and affordable housing for people of our community, to create opportunities for residents' self-sufficiency and economic independence, and to assure fiscal integrity in all of our programs. We support programs that renew and revitalize our community's neighborhoods. We seek to enhance the life skills of our residents through educational opportunities and to provide a brighter future for resident children.

The Housing Authority of Hopkinsville will stop taking applications for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program effective Monday, December 31, 2018. Applications will still be accepted on a walk-in basis every Wednesday from 9 am-11 am and 2 pm-4 pm except for holidays until the closure date. Online applications will also be available at until closure date as well.

The Housing Authority of Hopkinsville is accepting applications for the both the Public Housing and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher programs.  Applications are available online at until further notice.  Applications are also available at the Housing Authority office at 400 N. Elm St., Hopkinsville, KY  42240 on a walk-in basis.  Walk-in applications will be accepted on Wednesdays only from 9-11 a.m. and 2-4 p.m.  Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities upon request.  For more information, please call 270-887-4275.
