Our aim is to ensure safe, decent and affordable housing for people of our community, to create opportunities for residents' self-sufficiency and economic independence, and to assure fiscal integrity in all of our programs. We support programs that renew and revitalize our community's neighborhoods. We seek to enhance the life skills of our residents through educational opportunities and to provide a brighter future for resident children.

Announcements

 

The Housing Authority of Hopkinsville will begin accepting applications for the both the Public Housing and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher programs on April 1, 2017.  Applications will be available online at www.housingah.org from April 1, 2017 through May 31, 2017.  Applications will also be available at the Housing Authority office at 400 N. Elm St., Hopkinsville, KY  42240 on a walk-in basis.  Walk-in applications will be accepted on Wednesdays only from 9-11 a.m. and 2-4 p.m.  Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities upon request.  After May 31, 2017, applications will only be accepted from applicants who qualify as displaced.  For more information, please call 270-887-4275.
