Our aim is to ensure safe, decent and affordable housing for people of our community, to create opportunities for residents' self-sufficiency and economic independence, and to assure fiscal integrity in all of our programs. We support programs that renew and revitalize our community's neighborhoods. We seek to enhance the life skills of our residents through educational opportunities and to provide a brighter future for resident children.

The Housing Authority of Hopkinsville will begin accepting applications for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing beginning Wednesday, October 5, 2016.

Online applications will be available at by 8:30 am on October 5 and will be available 24 hours a day for applying for both programs.

Applications will be available at the Housing Authority office located at 400 North Elm Street and will be accepted on a walk-in basis every Wednesday from 9 am-11 am and 2 pm-4 pm except for holidays.

Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, January 4, 2017.
